Anthony "Amp" Elmore is a 5 time World Karate/Kickboxing Champion who 1st traveled to Africa in 1990 to promote his film "The Contemporary Gladiator." While in Kenya Elmore notes that he later understood that he was connected to the spirit of Kenya leader Tom Mboya. Mboya was a 26 year old Kenyan who started "Airlift America" whereas Barack Obama Sr. came to America in 1959. Elmore took groups to Kenya for over a decade and he has dedicated his like to connecting Africans and African/Americans via a program called the "Safari Initiative."
